Online Gifts For a Friend
I love giving presents, but I hate buying them! That is not meant to sound mean! I love the thought of giving things to my friends, it is just so hard to choose something for them, and I always like to find something that is a bit different for them. There used to be some great little shops in our town – nice little independent stores which had things that you couldn’t buy anywhere else, but as time marches on, the large multi-national stores seem to be the only ones capable of staying open on the high street.
I increasingly find myself buying things for my friends online, and I am afraid that I have all but given up on tracking down little unique gifts that you can’t find anywhere else. To be honest these days I play it safe and just try to buy something that I know people will like. This year I found a womens perfume store which had some really unusual perfumes at great prices. There was far more choice than I would have found in town and the prices were obviously far better. I managed to find something I hadn’t seen before, and my friend was thrilled with it. I love it when people like your gifts, but it just gets harder and harder to achieve.
One thing that always tips the balance for me is sending flowers with any gift. It is just an extra little thought and I think it makes all the difference.
